The contemporary information society and technological innovation increasingly challenge existing legal frameworks. Britt sees navigating this tension as an intriguing challenge. She enjoys continuously seeking ways to learn and grow, deliberately seeking situations where she’s not entirely comfortable, as they offer the greatest opportunities for self-development.
A part of her work involves preventing or mitigating risks. Leveraging her expertise in privacy, intellectual property, and IT, Britt delves into complex legal matters to grasp them and devise creative solutions. She finds pathways where none seem apparent.
Britt completed her Bachelor of Laws in 2022 at Utrecht University and obtained a Master’s degree in Information Law from the University of Amsterdam. As a Privacy Officer at the municipality of Sittard-Geleen, she supplemented her education with practical experience. Since 2024, she has been working at Boels Zanders, where she delves deep into legal matters as a Professional Legal Support.
