Her work in family and inheritance law often lands her with emotionally charged cases, which require more than legal advice. An experienced lawyer, Christiane specialises in matters such as divorce, division of joint assets and inheritance issues. She also likes to give her younger colleagues opportunities for further development, offering them personal guidance, respect for diversity and kindness. And she instils in them the will to get better every day themselves.
Christiane is a member of the Dutch Association of Inheritance Law Practitioners. She is also a member of the Dutch Association of Family and Inheritance Law Practitioners and Divorce Mediators (vFAS). In the case of the vFAS, she is registered not only as a lawyer specialising in family and inheritance law but also as a divorce mediator. Christiane is a lawyer on the editorial board of the Dutch Lawyer’s Journal.
