Christiane Verfuurden Lawyer

Christiane’s expertise lies in areas of law that put people at the center—whether in relation to others, or in relation to who they are and aspire to become. For over 20 years, she has been a specialist in family and inheritance law, where she works as an advocate and mediator to find common ground and creative solutions that respect all parties involved. Reaching an agreement together is often the best long-term solution, especially when children are involved.

In addition, Christiane applies her experience in education law, always keeping in mind the interests of the child, the school, and the parents. Being able to make a difference in the lives of young people through fair solutions makes her work immensely meaningful. She also enjoys helping younger colleagues grow professionally, with personal guidance, an eye for diversity, and a kind approach. And a strong desire to improve herself every single day.

Christiane is a member of the Association of Inheritance Lawyers in the Netherlands. She is also a member of the Association of Family and Inheritance Lawyers and Divorce Mediators (vFAS). Within vFAS, she is registered not only as a lawyer specialized in family and inheritance law but also as a divorce mediator. Additionally, she is a member of the Association for Education Law.
