A good compromise is the foundation for cooperation after a dispute. That is why Stephan likes to focus on a solution that protects the relationship between the parties. Staying in dialogue and doing justice to everyone’s interests: in the long term, this brings the greatest benefit.
Stephan has been a lawyer in the Netherlands since 2017 and has been admitted as a Rechtsanwalt in Germany since 2022. In the Netherlands, he is specialized in tenancy law and international private law. His focus is on the leasing and rental of commercial real estate, particularly in retail and hospitality. In Germany, Stephan mainly deals with commercial contracts and disputes between Dutch and German companies, debt collection, and the leasing and rental of commercial property.
In his practice, Stephan primarily represents businesses. He focuses not only on the Netherlands but also on international disputes, with a focus on the Netherlands – Germany. He prevents disputes by clearly documenting agreements in advance, drafting contracts, and developing pragmatic, creative solutions to legal problems.
Stephan studied international and European law at Radboud University and has been associated with our firm since 2016. He is also a member of the German-Dutch Lawyers Association. Stephan grew up bilingual (German and Dutch).
