Esther is truly at home in the south. Growing up in South Limburg, she feels deeply connected to the region. Matters truly come to life because she knows the environment well. With her legal expertise, she contributes to its spatial development. This makes her even more enthusiastic about the profession.

In administrative law, there is always a societal relevance. Esther finds this beautiful: a profession that is always evolving. You’re never done learning, always new cases that compel you to stay sharp. And then critically examine yourself and take the lessons learned to the next issue.

Esther studied Law at Maastricht University and completed her Master’s in Public Law and Governance at Utrecht University. The emphasis here was on Environmental Law and the law aiming to facilitate the transition to a sustainable society. Esther has been working at Boels Zanders since 2024.
