What Rein likes best about the legal profession is the variety of clients and the varied files. Always getting a look behind the scenes at companies in various sectors. The transactional practice then requires a project-based and goal-oriented approach that serves the client’s interests while not unnecessarily damaging the mutual relationship. After all, the best result is one that does not damage the (future) relationship – no matter how hard the negotiations.
In this way, Rein makes a meaningful contribution to his clients’ goals from a legal, procedural and relational perspective. He prefers to do this for driven entrepreneurs with passion and vision, people with an inspiring story. He likes to build long-term relationships with them. Because legal advice in the M&A practice is not an end in itself, but always serving the client and the transaction at hand.
Rein has experience in corporate law in a broad sense, with an emphasis on mergers & acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures and (re)structuring. He studied Law at Maastricht University. He also completed his master’s in Commercial and Business Law at Maastricht. Rein has been a lawyer since 2015 and has worked at Boels Zanders since 2025.
